ROSE CITY – The Ogemaw District Library is inviting the community to step back in time for The Pioneer Way program, “Where Did My Clothes Come From 250 Years Ago?”
Held as part of Celebrating 250 Years America!, this free program is scheduled for April 29, at 2 p.m. at the Rose City Branch, located at, 107 W Main St, Rose City, MI.
Guests will have the chance to explore how clothing was made 250 years ago through an engaging look at natural fibers, fiber producing animals, fiber processing, spinning, weaving and hands on fun. It’s a super opportunity to experience history in a way that is both educational and interactive.
The program is presented by Ogemaw District Library and will feature Librarian Colleen Boyd (Ogemaw East Branch), who is also a Master Spinner/Weaver.
The event is everyone over 5 years old.
