MIO – Oscoda County with be a Northern Michigan hotspot this weekend as local volunteers are bringing two tremendous events to the region.
The Nor-East’r Music Festival opens Friday, June 9 at 5:15 p.m. with Amy Petty singing the National Anthem. She’s followed by the opening act of the weekend, the Whiskey Charmbers. There will be multiple vendors and food onsite.

The Blue Collar Festival downtown launches at 3 p.m. with Illusionist Jason Jewell. That’s followed by a random draw cornhole tournament, the Mike Ball Comedy Show and musicians include After Midnight.
Saturday brings a car show, regular cornhole tournament, live music and more.
