ST. HELEN – American Legion Post #416 is presenting its annual Christmas in July Party on July 23. A highlight of the day is a golf cart parade
The parade starts at the legion post and runs to the Heston Academy and back. Staging is at 1 p.m. with the parade at 2 p.m. Bring a dish to pass. Dinner is at 4 p.m.
Prizes for best decorated golf cart, side-by-side and ATV. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Also held the same day is the Family Fun Fest.
There is a free fishing contest with both youth and adult divisions. Weigh in is from 10 a.m. to q p.m.
Cardboard Boat Races are scheduled for 3 p.m. in the beach area. There will be both kids and adult divisions. In the same spot, there will be free kids games from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
