ST. HELEN – The 67th Annual Bluegill Festival took place July 14 – 17. It was kicked off with an opening ceremony and the Kids Parade on Thursday, followed by the DDA playing softball against the staff of Charlton Heston Academy (CHA).
As winner of the first game, CHA, played Friday night against the Public Safety team, winning again and giving them bragging rights for the year.
The festival continued with carnival rides, a beverage tent, good food, music and friends. Sunday wrapped things up with the Grand Parade and awards ceremony.
