Carly Hill to host carboard sled derby

FIFE LAKE–The Annual Springfield Township Rec Area’s Carly’s Hill Snow Day will feature a cardboard box sled derby. (See attached flyers).
Warm Building- Hot Drinks- Lunch Provided- Warm Fire-Toddler Sledding Hill- Supervised Sledding- Games **SPECIAL GUESTS- SAFE KIDS with helmet fittings and safety demos!
It’s all free but donations are always welcome. 🙂
***Rules for the Cardboard Box Sled Derby***
-How to build your sled:
Building materials may include cardboard, tape, and glue ONLY.
(No wood, plastic, metal, screws, piping, etc.)
String or rope is allowed for moving and steering the sled.
You can decorate your sled with paint, picture, flags, etc.
-You can have a maximum of 3 people in the sled.
-Sleds will be judged in 2 categories: Beauty and Distance.
-We will be using middle run of Carly’s Hill for the distance portion of the derby.
-Helmets are required – No exceptions!
-Costumes are allowed and greatly encouraged.
