ELLSWORTH – The Grayling Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at the Ellsworth House on the Hill Invitational on Sept. 17.
In the Boy’ race, Grayling finished second overall with three individual medalists: Christian Artress 9th 18:47; Andrew Hopkins 12th 19:37; and Rickey Heavner 17th 20:01.
‘We had a great pack in the boy’ race, having our 1st-5th runners finishing close together really helps our team placing,’ said Coach Justin Andre. ‘We are super excited for this 2nd place finish’
In the girl’ race, Grayling finished in fifth place with two individual medalists: Megan Oppermann 11th 22:32; and Sarah Rakoczy 20th 23:56.
