Anna Victoria Guysky of Roscommon

Anna ‘Annie’ Victoria Guysky, 83, of Roscommon passed away Sept. 19, 2016 at The Lighthouse of Roscommon.

Annie was born in Flushing on Dec. 24, 1932 to Martin Frank and Marie Ann (Gall) Janca.

She married Frank R. Guysky on June 6, 1959 in Owosso. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2013.

Annie has resided in Roscommon since 1996, coming from Corunna.

Annie was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Roscommon.

Annie was a member of St. Michael CCW, Charles M. Engel VFW 4159 Auxiliary, Roscommon and the Ritzy Red Hatters. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul, Roscommon. She enjoyed travel, gardening, casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, Bob Guysky of Chelsea, Christi Tuma of St. Helen, Jeff (Debbie) Guysky of Grafton, WI and Patty (Ed) Anderson of Dexter; daughter-in-law, Laura Guysky of Higgins Lake; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Joe (Loretta) Janca of Owosso and two sisters-in-law, Frances Wiegel of Owosso and Joann Janca of Corunna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, John, Martin and Frank Janca; and three sisters, Amelia Sovis, Mary Vitous and Angeline Gengler.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Roscommon with Rev. Father Lawrence Sergott officiating. Per her wishes, Annie donated her body to MSU. Later she will be buried at Pioneer Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Michal CCW or St. Vincent DePaul of Roscommon.

Arrangements were handled by Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon.
