Jean Elizabeth Kriebel, Age 91, of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, to James and Frances (Capps) McCauley. Jean married Wendell Kriebel in 1953 and together they resided in Wyandotte, Trenton, and East Tawas. Jean is survived by her daughters Wendy (David) Papas, Kelly Seitter, Karrie (Tim) Woodard; son, James Kriebel; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Kriebel; granddaughter, Jessica Kriebel; and her parents, James and Frances McCauley.
A memorial service is planned for Jean at the Tawas Methodist Church on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Jean will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
