Neal A. Henderson
Age 84, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of Clio, MI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2026 at Iosco County Medical Care Facility, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 5, 1941 in Wallace, ID to the late Everett and Anna (True) Henderson. Neal worked in maintenance at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility for many years until his retirement. Neal found great joy in the beauty of nature. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, camping or simply taking scenic drives in search of deer, birds and other wildlife. Neal treasured the peace that the outdoors provided and enjoyed sharing those moments with family. Above all, he cherished the life that he built with his wife, Norma. Neal will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Norma Jean and her children; his sister, Sue Teaple and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie and brother, Chris. The family will welcome friends on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 1 P.M. until the time of service beginning at 3 P.M. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, MI. Interment will take place following the funeral in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the activities fund at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility.
