ROSCOMMON COUNTY – During the March 14-16 ice storm when more than 90 percent of Roscommon County households were without power, helpers turned out across the community. St. John’s Lutheran Church in Houghton Lake teamed up with Mercy Chefs to provide means during the storm, serving about 1,250 on March 21.
