NORTHERN MICHIGAN – Caregiving is one of the clearest ways to show love. You may be caring for aging parents while raising children, supporting a spouse or partner, or raising a relative’s children. Caregiving often means showing up every day in big and small ways.
This Valentine’s Day, we want caregivers in our community to know that love should not mean doing it alone. No matter where you are on your caregiving journey, questions and challenges are normal. Support is available.
Your local Area Agency on Aging, Region 9 Area Agency on Aging, is here to help. We connect caregivers with trusted resources, practical services and emotional support to make caregiving more manageable. From caregiver training and support groups to help with managing medications and finding local services, we are your local source for answers on all things caregiving.
