Allen Webb, 74, of South Branch

Allen Edward Webb, age 74, of South Branch, MI., passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. Allen was born on November 28, 1951, in Whitesburg, KY., to the late Martin and “Happy” (Nell) Webb. Allen was one of six children.

When Allen was a child, the family moved from Kentucky to Michigan for work opportunities and they made Michigan their home. After high school, he worked for Ford Motors, eventually becoming a Union Committee Man. He retired from Ford after 32 years in 2002.

Allen was joined in married by love of his life, Shannon Webb, on July 6, 2006, in Rapid Falls, SD. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, cooking, watching sports and playing the guitar. More than anything else he loved spending time with his family. Sharing family traditions gathered around the campfire. It was often said he resembled Santa, a likeness that brought him happiness. He was a larger than life personality and had a loving and positive effect on friends and family.
