NORTHERN MICHIGAN – Up North Voice is excited to announce one of our most beloved holiday traditions — the 2025 Santa Letters & Family Traditions section!
This heartwarming feature showcases the magic of the season through letters and drawings to Santa from local students in grades K–3 across Roscommon, Crawford, Oscoda, and Hale/Mio-Fairview elementary schools.
Each year, this special pullout brings joy to readers of all ages as children share their Christmas wishes, stories, and colorful artwork. It’s a community favorite that parents, grandparents, and neighbors look forward to — celebrating the imagination and spirit of our youngest residents.
In addition to the students’ letters, the section will include holiday stories from foreign exchange students describing how Christmas is celebrated around the world, along with touching family traditions and festive photos from local families.
The deadline for submissions is Nov. 22 at noon, and the section will appear in the December 2025 issue of the Up North Voice.
Businesses can share in the holiday spirit while supporting area schools and families by sponsoring this cherished edition. Advertising options are available for each participating school district, with multi-listing discounts.
