Javian W. Coats, age 58, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born on March 20, 1966, to Ralph and Annie (Switzer) Coats. On December 7, 1991, Javian married the love of his life, Teresa McKimmy, in Beaverton. Together, they shared 32 years of love and cherished memories.
Javian was a lifelong farmer, known for his hard work and dedication to his land. In addition to farming, he served as the zoning administrator for Arthur Township.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Teresa; sons: Lyle Coats and Luke Coats; sister: Amy Hill; niece: Ally; nephews: Jake and Cullen; sister-in-law: Ellen (Pat) Kent; and brothers-in-law: Toby McKimmy and David McKimmy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Bonnie and Howard.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
