Charles “Chuck” S. Irish, age 76, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday October 18, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Chuck was born on September 9, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sheldon and Helene (Butcher) Irish. He graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1965. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam. Chuck was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the VFW and various other veterans organizations. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and watching sports, he was a huge U of M fan.
Chuck is survived by his children; Andrea Lyon and Jeff (Courtney) Irish, five grandchildren; Connor, Camryn, Summer, Collins and Paxton, loving service dog; Annie and faithful German Shepherd; Koehne, siblings; Sheldon (Nancy) Irish and Shellene Sullivan, nieces & nephews; Brian, Patricia, Eric, Scott, Shawn, Cory, Shane and Carrie. He was preceded in death by his father; Sheldon Irish, mother; Helene Irish, brother; Tom Irish, grandson; Lucas and brother-in-law; Charles Sullivan.
A Graveside Service will be held at Denton Township Cemetery, Prudenville, on Friday October 27, 2023 at 2 pm. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
