Franklin ‘Frankie’ Chrivia, 52, of Hale

Franklin (Frankie) Paul Chrivia, 52 of Hale, passed away peacefully at his home on July 26, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Frankie was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered as a man who would give the shirt off his back for you and anyone who knew him will never forget his bright smile and great sense of humor. He was a family man and his family came before anything else in life. He was always the life of the party and loved to dance and sing along to Charlie Pride and Johnny Paycheck. He gave 25 dedicated years to R Webb and Son Well Drilling and served as cub scout master for all 3 of his boys. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Heather; sons, Cody (Jamie) Chrivia, Kelby (Hannah) Chrivia, Blake Chrivia; daughter Raygan Chrivia; siblings, Randy Chrivia, Rhonda (Ray) Sanchez, Dawn (Russ) Louks; granddaughters Charleigh and Callie; as well as a long list of cousins, nieces, nephews and the best of friends anyone could ever ask for. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Chrivia, sister-in-law Leabeth Chrivia and Mother-in-law Cindy Spaw. Per Frankie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on August 5, 2023, 5pm at Plainfield Township Resource Center (next to the Fire Department). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society so maybe one day another family doesn’t have to endure the diagnosis of an incurable cancer.
