Clay Inman III, 71, of Lovells

Lawrence “Clay” Clayton Inman III, age 71, Lovells, Michigan passed away peacefully early on Monday, August 2, 2021. He is survived by his children Erin (Todd), Clay IV (Marnee) and Katie; 6 grandchildren Connor (19), Dylan (16), Ryan (15), Brayden (12), Norah (11), and Molly (9); his sisters Lynne and Becky (Tom); and his close friend Nancy.

Clay was an avid outdoors man. He loved to hunt and fish especially on his little piece of heaven, the north branch of the Ausable River. He was a great story teller, sports enthusiast, and a loyal friend. Clay never met a stranger, was extremely generous and had a head full of “useless” knowledge.

Above all he was a proud dad and grandfather who would do anything for his family. He will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm with visitation before from 11-1 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI. A light lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Clay’s memory can be made to the Lovells Fire and EMS Department: 8405 Twin Bridge Rd., Grayling, MI 49738. Condolences can be shared with family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.

Arrangements by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
