ROSCOMMON’The board of Friends For Safe Schools attended the weekly Roscommon Rotary meeting at Fred’ of Roscommon Feb. 2. They were awarded a $15,000.00 grant to help fund the ‘BOOT” project in the local schools.
The Rotary also made donations to the Roscommon Food Pantry, Roscommon County Literacy Council, and Special Olympics.
Sheriff Ed Stern and Board President Kate Gammicchia accepted the check from the Roscommon Rotary for the Safe Schools project.
Roscommon Rotary also welcomed new members Brent Cryderman and Carmine Polisei at a recent meeting.
