HALE- The Hale middle school cross country team is full of athletes.  Logan Wade got first place in 4 of the meets he has run now.  The four meets he won include the Petoskey Kiwanis Cross Country Invitational, a NSL meet at Charlton Heston, the Leroy Maxie, and the Little Dipper League Championship in Alcona.  Wade is now tied for 1st place in the NSL for boys.

At the NSL championship, the boys team got 2nd. Hale has one meet left which is being held in Hale at Wicker Hills Golf Course on October 17th.  The boys team consists of 6 boys, Brady Barkholz, Dainin Lippert, Jonah Barclay, Logan Wade, Noah Koepke, and Russell Koepke. There is only one girl on the team and that would be Trinity Shick.  Coach Culton says “The team might not be the biggest but they are a very fun and dedicated team to be around all of the time.”

Everyone on the team has gotten better and better the more meets they run. Trinity Shick has even improved her best time by 5 minutes.  This talented group of runners is one to watch out for in the future for sure as they keep producing amazing results!
