Over 180 paddlers take to Northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes Water Trail

ANTRIM COUNTY –  Paddle Antrim is ready to celebrate Northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes Water Trail at the 7th annual Paddle Antrim Festival September 15-17. This event is highlighted by over 180 paddlers embarking on a two-day paddle through the Chain of Lakes and includes family friendly events all weekend long for the entire community.

The Paddle Antrim Festival starts with the Kick-off Party on September 15th from 5:30-7:30 pm at Ellsworth River Park. There will be great live music from The Hazel James Band and food from Cutler’s Creations & catering Food Truck. On September 16, paddlers celebrate the end of Day 1 with a Block Party in Bellaire hosted by the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Paddles and Pedals. The Festival concludes with a Final Bash Saturday afternoon hosted by the top sponsor of the Festival, Short’s Brewing Company at their Production Facility and Pull Bar in Elk Rapids from 3-8 pm on September 17. There will be great Short’s brews, food from Alley Cat’s Eats and Sweets and Osorio Tacos y Salsas and live music by Ethan Bott.
