Hope Ann Vincenty-Cole, age 68, of East Tawas, MI, formerly of Woodhaven, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1957 in Trenton, MI to the late Donald and Margaret (Kreszyn) Vincenty. Hope graduated from Woodhaven High School in Woodhaven MI, and went on to become a highly skilled medical assistant for over 30 years. Hope met Daniel Lee Cole in March of 1987, and on March 19, 1988, they tied the knot in East Tawas, sharing the next 38 wonderful years together. Throughout her life, she took pride in not only her career and marriage but also her keen sense of creativity. Hope was a master crafter and artist, bringing to life her imagination with extraordinary talent. She was also known to enjoy gardening and planting flowers, boating on the Au Sable River, spending quality time at her scenic cabin in Oscoda, making greeting cards, and painting stained glass stones. A lover of learning, Hope was always exploring new ways to express herself through her many talents. Hope is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Daniel; son, Nathaniel (Courtney) Vincenty-Cole; brothers, Tom (Emoke) Massel and John (Mary Ann) Massel; sister, Sue (Ralph) Mayhorn; cousin, Diane Maxam; grandchildren, Mason and Hunter; nieces, Natasha and Angie; nephew, David; and many friends. In addition to her parents, Hope was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Vincenty. Hope will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
