Jill Ann McQueen (Strudgeon)
Jill passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026 with her husband, David, at her side after a battle with cancer.
Jill Ann Strudgeon was born in Flint, MI on February 18, 1954, the daughter of Donald and Norma Strudgeon. She was followed 8 minutes later by her twin sister, Jan Marie. Jill lived in the Flint, MI area most of her life until moving to Au Gres, MI after retiring. She graduated from Burton Bentley High School in 1972. She then attended Kendall School of Design for a year before starting a career at General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division, retiring in 2002.
Jill married the love of her life, David J. McQueen, on August 7, 1999 in Au Gres, MI, and they spent almost 27 wonderful years together.
Jill enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining friends and family as well as tending to her beautiful flowers.
Jill is survived by her husband, David McQueen; sister Jan Strudgeon-Grissom (Ed Richter); brother-in-law Scott McQueen; sister-in-law Janette Sullivant (Steve) and her family; many cousins and relatives along with special friends Donna and Theresa Sarhan. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Norma Strudgeon and beloved nephew Jason Grissom.
Per the request of the deceased, there will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arenac County (MI) Animal Control, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or any charity of your choice. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
