LaVern Sue Lancaster, born June 8, 1947, passed away peacefully in Tawas, MI., on July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
LaVern is survived by her children, Bryan Deaton and Christina Hackett; grandchildren, Donald and Joseph Bear, and Bryan Deaton; sisters, Carolyn Barber, Nancy Corbett; brother, Jim Barber.
LaVern is preceded in death by her parents, James and Delores Barber; sisters, Barbara Knapp, Denise Foos, and Sharon Vance.
LaVern loved collecting trinkets, thrift shopping, and she liked playing bingo and going to the casino.
