Mary Jane LaBerge Klenow
Of East Tawas, MI passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 after 97 years of life well lived.
After many productive years running Klenow’s Market, she retired to enjoy her family, game shows, crossword puzzles and a few hands of pinochle.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hank and her much loved daughter Elizabeth. Her remaining children Stephen (Theda), Elaine, Henry (Vicky), Mary and Patricia will remember her fondly. No doubt her seven grandchildren, Alan Clements, Jon Klenow, Kevin Todd, Lawrence Nicholson, William Nicholson, Clare Palo and Jennifer Klemm, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild will miss her humor and wisdom. Jane is also survived by her sister Barbara Seebaldt and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Ruth, her brothers, Thomas and Francis, and her sister Clara Chatel.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in East Tawas. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas on May 17, 2025 at 11:00 am.
