Edward E. Cline passed away peacefully at the age of 90.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. Towards the end, he really enjoyed the card games at both the American Legion and the homes of the many friends that he made over the years. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of American Legion.
He is survived by his son David (Sherri) LaBenne of Standish; grandchildren, Adam (Danielle) LaBenne of Aviano, Italy, Amber (Jacob) Schmidt of West Branch, Brian (Laura) LaBenne of Concord, Kailee LaBenne of Mt. Clemens; 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife JoAnne Cline; parents Wally and Jane (LaRocque) Bluemlein; brothers, Darrel Bluemlein and Jeff Bluemlein; sister, Carol Bachelder; son, John LaBenne;
A memorial service will take place at a future date and time with immediate family. His final resting place will be with his wife in the Mills Township Cemetery. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to Heartland Hospice in West Branch.
