Dale Loren Middleton, age 78, passed away in West Branch, MI on May 2, 2024.
He was born on May 26th, 1945, to Leo and Lorna (Beach) Middleton at home on his family farm in Prescott, MI. After graduating from Prescott High School, Dale went to work for General Motors where he worked at the plant in Flint. He spent 30 years working on the Buick engine assembly line.
Dale enjoyed working on cars. He especially loved working on his 100-year-old family farm where he spent days haying. Dale was a member of the Eagles Club.
He married Mary Engelhardt on November 8th, 1969, and although they divorced, Dale considered her a friend and reconciled their friendship later in life.
He is survived by his children, Dean Middleton and Denise Brown; grandson, Christopher Dark; nieces, Geneice, Heather, Beth and Tina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Martha Mae Doneff.
Services for Dale will be on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at Buresh Funeral Homes in Prescott, MI. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at the time of service at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Logan Township Cemetery.
