Melissa “Missy” Joleen Linkhart (Harmer), 57 of Frederic passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Missy (as she preferred to be called), was born to Eugene and Mildred Harmer March 19, 1966.
Missy & her husband Sean’s Love story spanned Decades ( starting in 7th grade), they were married on July 1st, 1988. Together they have 2 children, Ashley(38) & Isaiah (17).
Missy was an avid animal lover, surrounding herself with everything from her Macaw Albert to her dogs, cats and guinea pigs. Missy worked at several places over the years, however her favorite job was staying home and raising her Children. Her children were her Pride and Joy. On Feb 14, 2008 she was blessed with her first granddaughter, Cali. Missy and Cali were best friends from the very start and They loved doing crafts together. Missy was so loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Missy is preceded in death by her father Eugene, her mother Mildred, Brother Mike, Sister Annie, Brother Todd, Sister Shelly, Sister Valerie, and Nephews Corey & Nicholas Harmer.
Survived by her Husband Sean Linkhart, Daughter Ashley (George) Stoia, Son Isaiah Linkhart, granddaughter Cali, Brother Kevin, Sister Wendy (Rod) Hinkle and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will take place Thursday, November 16, 2023, 12:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic, Michigan. A luncheon will follow.
