Charles F. Hughes (Fred), age 84, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Grayling, Michigan.
Fred was born August 16, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Charles W. and Helen (Sharp) Hughes. He enjoyed reading, feeding wildlife, and working in the woods.
Fred will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Malig of Chaptico, Maryland; and his grandchildren: Anthony, Aidan, and Cameron.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Crystal Hughes.
Fred’s family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
