Doloris Ruth Hohman, age 78, of Roscommon, died on Monday, August 28, 2023, at her home.
Dee was born April 9, 1945, in Caro, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Eleanor (Knaggs) Farnham.
Dee married William “Bill” Hohman on December 21, 1963, in Tuscola County, Michigan.
Dee was a very family-oriented person who enjoyed putting puzzles together and coloring by number pictures. If that wasn’t enough, she enjoyed sewing. Dee loved living in Roscommon and being close to Higgins Lake. Dee also enjoyed watching the deer play in the front yard and enjoyed baking and sharing the goodies with friends and family. Dee enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores. Dee really enjoyed telling stories from her life.
Dee will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children: Kelly Hetzner of Frankentrost, Michigan, Wendy (Deborah Long) Hohman of Roscommon, Michigan, Shelby (Daniel) Failla of Lost Lake, Michigan, James Hohman of Roscommon, Michigan; grandchildren: Joshua Hetzner, Jeffrey Hetzner, Megan Hetzner, Danielle Failla, Nathaniel Failla, Ethan Hohman, Kyle Smith-Hohman, Cooper Hohman, Sarah Smith-Hohman; great-grandchildren: Landon, Adam, Lexi, Avery, Charlie; brother, Dennis Farnham of Vassar, Michigan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Hohman; brothers: Dwayne (Shirley) Farnham, Robert Farnham, Carson Farnham.
A private gathering will be held at Tuscola Cemetery, Michigan.
Dee’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
If so desired, the family prefers you plant a tree in Dee’s memory.
