Bruce A. Spitsen, age 79, passed away at his home in Prescott, MI on August 17, 2023. He was born in California on December 18,1943. Bruce graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School in 1962. He lived in Auburn Hills for many years before settling in Prescott. Bruce is survived by his children; Julie Spitsen of Auburn, David (Susan) Spitsen of Davisburg, Jim Spitsen of Royal Oak, Christina (Scott) Matwyuk of Standish, Karmen (Luke) Mills of West Branch, Will (Leslie) Spitsen of Detroit, “bonus son” Chad (Pearl) Leitner of Prescott; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Bev Peterson and grandson Logan Mills. A time of visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott, MI followed by cremation.
