Ralph W. Johnson, of Hale, MI passed away peacefully after a sudden illness and also dementia, on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born in National City, MI to Philip and Lois (Webb) Johnson on December 4, 1935. Ralph drove semi-trucks for 47 years hauling freight from coast to coast as well as hauling gravel trains and blacktop in Michigan. He retired in 1997. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Ralph loved mowing the yard on his tractor. He is survived by his wife Christine “Sue” of 68 years; children, Patti (Greg)Hickel, Steve (Sue) Johnson, Barbara (Ken) Roelle; sister, Wendy Kesler; sister-in-law, Norma Johnson; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Audrey, Victor, Berthamae, Duane, and Larry.
