The kind, compassionate, and loving soul of Delbert Lee Roe Sr. passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1940, in Gladwin, Michigan to the late Delbert G. and Beatrice (Crowle) Roe. Delbert loved to go fishing, hunting, and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He had a great heart and loved every one of his family members deeply. Delbert married the love of his life, Joann Ranes, and together they shared 55 beautiful years full of laughter and joy.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Joann Roe, his children, Delbert (Donetta) Roe, Coleen (Wayne) Grove, Barbie Roe, and Daniel Roe, grandchildren, Bill Howey (Jackie Heath), Santana (Josh) Love, Wayne (Amber Kosiara) Grove, Colin (Dana Anderson) Grove, and 6 great grandchildren.
At this time, according to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial may be held at a later date.
