John Ritter, 92, of Beaverton

John William Ritter, beloved husband and father, 92, of Beaverton, MI passed away on May 9, 2023 at Tony and Trish Hospice House.

He was born in Midland, MI on August 16, 1930 the son of Paul and Ruby (Blank) Ritter. He lived in Beaverton, MI the last 49 years while previously residing in Midland, MI. On October 2, 1948 he was united in marriage to Norma Eastman in Midland, MI celebrating 74 wonderful years together. He retired from Dow as a Master Tradesman after nearly 50 years of service.

He had a great love for Pike fishing, golfing (in which he achieved two hole in ones), bowling, Harley Davidsons and classic cars, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. John attended Floyd Church of God.

His family included his wife; children: Barry Ritter, Timothy Ritter, Robyn (Ritter) Hickerson (Aaron), Daniel Ritter (Etoile); grandchildren:  Benjamen Hickerson, Justine Ricolo, Jermey Ritter; and 3 great grandchildren; along with his siblings: Paul Ritter (Ida), Joanne Machuta (Victor), Beverly Crandell (Gale), James Ritter, and Peter Ritter.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Tony and Trish House in Auburn MI.
