Stewart “Boone” McNeill, lifelong AuSable resident, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, May 15, 2023. Boone was 87 years old. He was born to Harold and Nellie McNeill on January 27, 1936 in AuSable, MI.
Boone graduated from (Old) Oscoda High School where he met his wife of nearly 69 years, Catherine and she survives him along with their four children; Barry (Robin) McNeill, Scott McNeill, Gina (Dean) Cinquino, Eric (Brenda) McNeill, 7 grandchildren; Lenny McNeill, Barbara McNeill, Catherine McNeill, Joel Cinquino, Jennene (Cinquino) Wyszynski, Adam McNeill & Lauren McNeill. 5 great grandchildren; Ozzy, Everleigh, Charlotte, Maddux & Ellia. Also surviving are his brothers Donald & Dale McNeill, two nephews, one aunt and several cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, as well as a brother and sister-in-law David & Kathy McNeill.
