Bob Schleben, Sr., 79, of Roscommon

Robert Marvin Schleben, Sr., age 79, of Roscommon, died on Friday, May 19, 2023, in Roscommon in the presence and comfort of his family.

Bob was born April 17, 1944, in Hawks, Michigan, the son of Wilfred and Grace (Fleming) Schleben. Bob was the proud owner of B and J Firewood. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting. He also liked to watch the deer out his window. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his most notable friend, Joyce Emery.

Bob will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his children: Raymond (Linda) Brooks, Randy (Christine) Brooks, Rick (Gayle) Schleben, Robert Jr. (Christina) Schleben, Roger (Aimee) Schleben, Rodney Schleben, James (Roquel) Kolacz; sister, Elizabeth (Roger) Fleming; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; and his daughter, Tina.

Family and friends gathered on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon, Michigan. The Funeral was on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, also at the Funeral Home.

Bob will be laid to rest next to his daughter, Tina, at Gerrish Township Cemetery, Michigan.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Robert Schleben, Jr., to be put towards the purchase of the Headstone for Bob.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
