Penny L. Self, age 72, of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday March 30, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Penny was born on October 3, 1950 in Pontiac, Michigan to Frank and Roseline (Marlow) Hillis. She lived in Houghton Lake most of her life. Penny enjoyed her artistic hobbies, camping, boating, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Penny is survived by her daughters; Tina (Dennis ) Hoffman and Tammy (David) DuFresne, Loving friend and companion; Frank Arreola, grandchildren; Beau, Ryan, Tyler, Chelsea, Mattie and Hanna, fourteen great grandchildren and her dog Abby. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter; Millie and brother; Charles Hillis.
