Lyle James Baldwin, age 84, of Roscommon, died on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at his home in the presence and comfort of his family.
Lyle was born January 18, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Stephen and Helen (Simpson) Baldwin.
Lyle married Jo Ann Denstedt on April 27, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lyle was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge in Grayling. He was passionate about woodworking as well as playing golf. Lyle worked many years at Camp Grayling as a security guard. He also enjoyed working with special needs children at the Special Olympics. He especially loved being involved with the Wertz Warriors regarding the Special Olympics.
Lyle will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jo Ann, of 7 years and stepdaughter Kathleen (Dan) Baker.
Lyle is preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Harold Helsel, Jr.
Lyle’s family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
