Jean Margaret Forde, age 91, of Tawas City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023. Jean was born on December 26, 1931, in Stratford, Ontario to the late William Richardson and Margaret Bibbee. She worked as a seamstress for a clothing and upholstery organization, an industry in which she had a great talent in. Before moving up to the Tawas, Michigan area in July of 2020, Jean was residing in the West Bloomfield, Michigan area for about 10 years. Some of her favorite hobbies consisted of knitting, sewing, crotchet, and spending time with her family.
Jean is survived by her children, David (Edith) Forde and Teddy Forde; grandchildren, Shannon (Olga) Forde, Angela Walmsley, Shelley (Brad) Watkins, Kristin (Karl) Lapado, Tiffany (Derek) Smith, Angel (Kurt Piazza) Forde, and Dylan Forde; great-grandchildren, Francis Forde, Dylan Forde, Christopher Heisler, Abigail Watkins, Zachary Watkins, Matthew Watkins, Juliana Lapado, Gabriel Lapado, Jonah Lapado, Gwendolyn Lapado, Jacquelyn Lapado, Niko Piazza, Luca Piazza, Henry Smith, and William Smith. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her daughters, Georgia Forde and Virginia Walmsley; and her grandson, Joshua Walmsley.
