Ardis Ann Johnston, 80, of Roscommon, MI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
Ardie was born in Dearborn to the late Arthur and Jane Twork. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Johnston. Ardie was a dedicated educator. Her passions were teaching history, geography, and reading and also enjoyed these subjects late into her life.
She loved having good conversations with her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Ardie always put others’ needs before her own. Her favorite place to visit was Jekyll Island, where she often wintered with her husband.
Survived by her daughters: Julie (Jason) Wendtland and Meredith (Eric) Anderson. Grandchildren: Kathryn, Audrey, Ryan, and Alaina. Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law: Sharon & Jim Carlson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
