Mary Sylvia Reamer, age 85, of Roscommon, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Roscommon, Michigan.
Sylvia was born November 13, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Peter and Theresa (Pioszak) Zakrzewski. Sylvia was the middle child of five daughters.
For several years in the 1970’s and 1980’s Sylvia had her own home-based business teaching ceramics in Eastpointe, Michigan. Following a long held wish to live up north, Sylvia built a home in Roscommon and moved there permanently in the mid 1990’s.
Sylvia is survived by her sister Elaine of Largo, Florida, brother-in-law Michael of Birmingham, Michigan, as well as nieces Deanna Spencer, Margaret Deller, Jennifer Deller and nephews Joseph Horner, Paul Deller, Thomas Deller and Keith Deller.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Robert Bochniak, who died in 1980 and Eugene Reamer, her second husband, who died in 2012. Her sisters Regina, Grace and Paulinda also died before her.
Sylvia’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
