Philip Hall, 70, of family from Higgins Lake

Philip Wayne Hall, age 70, of Naples, Florida, died on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in Naples, in the presence and comfort of his family and beloved companion, Cel Daniel.

Phil was born August 11, 1952, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the son of Wayne and Norma Jean (Fulmer) Hall.

Phil was a lifelong bachelor who loved people, boating, Florida, Higgins Lake and most of all, his family. After graduating from Southfield Lathrup H.S., Michigan in 1970, Phil went to Northern Michigan University but decided college wasn’t the route he wanted to take. He took on many jobs in life. He worked in home improvement sales, real estate sales, owned his own roofing company, and one of his favorites, limo driving. As a full time Naples, Florida resident, he kept an eye on and managed snowbird friends Naples homes. Phil’s generous heart always reached out to friends in need. He was a proud son, brother, uncle and a favorite role he most recently took on, great uncle.

Phil will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his brother, David Gene (Mary) Hall of Higgins Lake, Michigan; niece and nephews: Jennifer (Tyler) Pierce, Kristopher (Sarah Nolan) Hall, Jeffrey (Devin Williams) Hall; great-nephews: Cameron Wayne Pierce, Gabriel Gene Pierce, Hudson Nolan Hall, as well as many, many friends.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather for Memorial Services: Thursday, March 30, in Naples, Florida, time to be determined, at Enchanting Acres Clubhouse; and Wednesday, July 26, 11 a.m. Graveside in Higgins Lake, Michigan.

Phil will be laid to rest in July in the Hall family plot at Oakwood Cemetery in Lyon Township, Michigan.

Those who cannot attend due to distance, weather, or any reason preventing attendance, may watch the Higgins Lake graveside service streamed live at: https://www.facebook.com/wagnerandwalshfuneraldirectors

(Occasionally issues may occur considering location and availability of reception. When this occurs, the funeral home staff is prepared to record the service and then post it to the Facebook page. We appreciate your understanding).

Phil asked that any flowers or plants desired, be ordered from a local florist. If you prefer a memorial contribution, one may be made in Phil’s name to Higgins Lake Foundation, P.O. Box 753, Roscommon, Mi 48653.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
