Lois Elaine Stewart, age 86 of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Horizon Senior Living in West Branch surrounded by her family. Lois was born on December 29, 1936, to William and Esther Geese in Saginaw, MI.
She married Robert Edwin Stewart on May 2, 1953, in Saginaw, MI. Lois has lived in Gladwin for 15 years, formerly of Freeland, MI. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Lois enjoyed knitting, taking walks, fishing, playing cards, doing cross word puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Robert Stewart, children, Robert (Ann) Stewart, Karen Monteath, Ron (Amy) Stewart, Kathy (Nate) Marolf, Karla Fox, and Ryan (Jodi) Stewart. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Lois is preceded in death by parents, William and Esther Geese, In-laws, Edwin and June Stewart, son, Rick Stewart, son-in-law, Ray Fox, and brother, Ken Geese.
