Jerry Tomlian, 83, of West Branch

Jerome Adam Tomlian, age 83, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, MI. He was born on September 18, 1939, in Detroit, MI to Albert and Bessie (Sloop) Tomlian. Jerry lived in West Branch most of his life.

Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1960. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Jerry worked for Schmitt Tire in West Branch for over 15 years. He had a booth at the Victorian Art Fair and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his children, Ann Marie (Joe) Cottle of Mecosta, MI, Jeff (Debbie) Tomlian of Waynesboro, PA, Chris (Lori) Tomlian of West Milton, OH, Beth (Steve) Morris of West Branch, MI, and Jackie (Al) Carlson of Prescott, MI; daughter in law Kristie Tomlian of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Joey (Abigail) Cottle, Brittany Cottle, Ashley Tomlian, Jonathon Tomlian, Nathanial Tomlian, Jennifer Lynn (Jeremy) Griffis, Jennifer Ray (Nick) Gorske, Chelsea (Jake) Stephens, Emily Carlson, Brian Carlson, Jason Carlson, Benjamin Tomlian, Ariella Tomlian, Samuel Tomlian, and Elijah Tomlian; great grandchildren Graham, Greyson, Asher, Olivia, Lexi, Eloise, and Amelia; and twin brother John Tomlian of Williamston, MI.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sally Jo, second wife Sandy, son Jerome, and siblings Norman Tomlian, Marion Gillette, Dorothy Earl, Greta Cox, Marty Scymkowics, Tom Tomlian, Margaret Tomlian, Lucille Koptiz, Frank Tomlian, James Tomlian, and Susan Cowan.

A memorial service will be held at Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church in West Branch on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. Pastor David Kurtz and Jeff Tomlian will officiate.
