Fred Clifford Bush Jr., age 67, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Medilodge of Sterling in Sterling, MI. He was born on January 22, 1955, in Warren, MI. He lived in Rose City, MI since 2003, formerly of Grand Blanc and Warren.
On February 1, 1978, he married Sheryl Lock in Warren.
Fred was a life member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time on his 40 acres. He enjoyed guns, riding his quads and 4×4’s. Fred retired from General Motors after working for 33 years. Once he retired, he worked as a bus driver for West Branch/Rose City Schools and Mio/AuSable Schools. He also spent summers working canoe liveries.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sheryl Bush; children Chris Bush, Amy Bush, Kevin (Torie) Bush, and Katie (Frank) Davis; grandchildren Chloe, Lillyanna, Joanna, Houston, Cooper, and Christopher Jr.; brothers Danny (Cathy), Jeff (Jenny), and Theresa (Jim); and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mentor Township Cemetery in Mio, MI. Pastor Jim Beck will officiate.
