Sandra Kaye Ross, age 77, of Oscoda, MI passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022 after a long and courageous battle.
She was born on April 19, 1945 to the late Glen “Bucky” and Mary Buchanan (Thompson) in Lincoln, MI. Sandra graduated from high school and went on to study education at Albion College. After graduating with her education degree, she worked in the Oscoda area school system for many years as a teacher and assistant principal before retiring in 2001.
In 1967, Sandra met the love of her life, William Ross, marrying him in 1968. They went on to have 2 daughters, Jennifer and Cynthia. Sandra was a member of the Oscoda downtown beautification committee and she enjoyed flowers, reading, traveling and most especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Ross, daughters Jennifer Jackson, Cynthia (Chris) Pangborn and grandchildren, Morgan and Austin.
