Dreams of retirement started the building of a retirement home at Lake Columbia in Brooklyn, Michigan. Marragies of childeran and with grand childeran arriving they moved to their new residence at Lake Columbia. Just in time to host many family get togethers on weekend and holidays.

Retirement brought the opportunity to travel the country with their rv and then buying a permanent place in Florida for escaping in the winter months

Leona enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, painting and teaching ceramics in her home. She also was very passionate in helping family members who were in need of help in troubled times.
