Joseph Loibl, 88, of Grayling

Joseph Jerry Loibl of Graying, MI, passed away Friday November 18, 2022 at age 88.

Joseph was born in Saginaw on July 8, 1934 to the late Joseph and Amanda (Wright) Loibl.  He attended Arthur Hill High School.  He was Veteran of the U.S Navy and member of the National Association of Atomic Veterans.  Joseph retired from Buick Motor Division of Flint, MI.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He also loved playing golf and was a member of the Grayling Country Club.  Listening to bluegrass music was his passion.

Surviving is one daughter Shari Dalton of Reese; four grandchildren: Sarah (Jeremy) Vasey of Freeland, Christopher Paier of Reese, Adam Paier of Reese, Hailey Bauer of Reese; two great grandchildren: Cianna & Easton Vasey.  Also surviving are three nieces: RaeAnne Soles, Janine Kubik and Jennifer Mercier.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Julianne Loibl and Brenda Sikora; a sister Joann (Frederick) Alcock; and a nephew Daniel Alcock.

Honoring Mr. Loibl’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for Spring 2023.
