Age 83, passed away at his home in Au Gres, Michigan, on December 27, 2022. Jack was born to James and Dorothy Fischer in Detroit, Michigan on September 5, 1939. He grew up in the Detroit , Michigan, area, and following high school he began working as a delivery driver for several laundry companies. After working for them, he worked as a truck driver for DyDee Diaper Service. He spent several hard-working years with them before he eventually retired in 1993. In 1964 he met the love of his life, Diane Lynn Break, and the two were married in Livonia, Michigan. They spent the next 58 years together happily married. In 1999, the two moved themselves up to Au Gres, Michigan, where they have resided for the last 23 years. Jack was a member of the Au Gres Lions Club and the Au Gres Boat Club, and his several hobbies consisted of fishing, hunting, playing cards, cooking, eating/drinking, joke telling, and most importantly spending quality time with his family.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Diane Fischer; daughter, Christine (Ron) Sullivan; sister, Marge; grandchild, Jack Alan Fischer Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jack Alan Fischer Sr.; brother, James Fischer; and sister, Marilyn Fischer.
