Marjorie Sersaw, 92, Gladwin

Marjorie Lee Sersaw, 92, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Sunday, September 26th, 2022, at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. Marjorie was born on August 17th, 1930, in Lincoln County, West Virginia, to Eva and Dennis Sheets. She went on to marry Forest Louis Sersaw, on January 28th, 1946. She was a loving mother to her four children, that she went on to raise on her own, as her husband died at the age of 28.

She left behind four children to raise: Joyce, Richard, Linda, and Barbara. She worked until the age of 65, retiring from Gladwin Motor Lodge. She loved her family and The Lord and enjoyed spending quality time at family gatherings, putting together puzzles and keeping her mind sharp with crosswords and word searches.

She is survived by her children Barb Cropper of Texas, Linda (Gary) Keeley of Beaverton, and Joyce Sersaw, of Gladwin. She loved her grandchildren: Brian Keeley of Beaverton, Jerry Keeley of Ohio, Lindy Kelley of Texas, Kelly Roberts of Texas, Tracy Grove of Beaverton, Paul Cingano of California, Steve Cingano. She leaves 19 great grandkids and 5 great-great-grandkids.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, her son, Richard Sersaw, four brothers, two sisters, her grandaughter Shelly, two great-grandsons Bryant Cingano, Kristopher Mercer, and Dustin Whent.

The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Martin Hodge on Saturday, October 1st, at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel, 135 N. Silverleaf St., Gladwin, MI, 48624. Visitation will be held on October 1, 2022, at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, in Gladwin, MI from 11 am until the time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
