Dorothy I. Wagar, age 94, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Horizons of Gladwin surrounded by her family. She was born on May 26, 1928, to the late Matthew and Edna (Breault) Lennon in Gladwin, Michigan. She married the love of her life DeVere Wagar on December 6, 1947, in Gladwin. Dorothy worked at Zettle Drugs for 12 and a half years, was a lifetime member of OES White Clover #84 and was a member of the VFW 11256 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of Wagarville United Methodist Church where she loved to worship her Lord and Savior.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Douglas (Rosemarie) Wagar, Timothy Wagar, and Deann (Dan) Henrichsen; grandchildren, Nick, Carly, and Alli; and great grandchild, Cali.
She is predeceased by her husband, DeVere; her son, Dennis Wagar; brothers and sisters, Steve, Alice, Cassie, Alfred, Thomas, Rosilee, Lester, Francis, Jack, Leo, and Clarence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 1 pm at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel, 135 N. Silverleaf St., Gladwin, Mi, 48624. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel and on Saturday, August 27 from 12 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wagarville Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
